To keep pace with changing times, physical, mental, and emotional values are important to facilitate the child’s ability to face life with confidence and skill.

NCC, standing for National Cadet Corps, aims to foster character, discipline, and leadership among school and college students. It is a voluntary organization offering basic military training. NCC cadets receive basic military training, including small arms and parades, as well as other activities like social service and adventure training.
NCC can help improve overall personality, develop leadership skills, and offer opportunities for national service. It can also be beneficial for those pursuing careers in the armed forces or government. The program aims to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, and selfless service among the youth. Training includes drill, shooting, physical fitness, first aid, and depending on the service (Army, Navy, or Air Force), specialized training like gliding/flying for Air Wing cadets or boat pulling/sailing for Naval Wing cadets.

Preference is given to B & C Certificate holders in Defence Services, Police services, Para-Military forces, Fire forces, BSF, Territorial Army, Industrial Security Forces, Public Sectors, and all uniform services.
60 Engineering Seats, 16 Medical Seats, and 6-7% of post-graduation seats are reserved for NCC cadets in all Indian Universities.
Number of vacancies created every year through UPSC & SSC for ‘C’ Certificate holders but selected only on an interview basis.

NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders are given preference in the recruitment of Civilian Gliding Instructors/Girl Cadet Instructors /NCC whole-time lady officers and Aero/Ship modeling instructors.

NCC cadets get bonus marks for Army soldier recruitment.
NCC Cadets have reservations in many Government jobs, especially in the State and Central Police, and in paramilitary forces.
NCC cadets have a lot of Academic incentives too.
NCC ‘C’ Certificate cadets who participate in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi are exempted from the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for recruitment in the Indian Army and are awarded 100 marks in lieu of the exam.
Sahara India and many other top industries pick up NCC Cadets possessing ‘C’ certificate for various jobs in their companies.
